T'gana Congress MP responds to showcause notice
congress Member Komatireddy venkat Reddy has responded to the party's show-cause notice for insubordination. On november 1, the Bhongir mp responded to the All india congress Committee (AICC), refuting the accusations levelled against him. On october 22, Tariq Anwar, general secretary of the congress, sent a notice to the lok sabha member for a response within ten days.
The announcement came after an audio recording of venkat Reddy pleading with a Congressman to back the BJP's candidate and his brother Komatireddy Rajagopal reddy in the Munugode by-election went popular on social media. It is believed that venkat Reddy informed the party leadership that the audio was a "fake" one in his response. According to reports, the mp claimed in his letter that he has worked for the organisation for 35 years and is a senior leader in the party. He grumbled that he wasn't given the respect he deserved at the celebration. Recently, a video clip in which venkat Reddy is heard predicting that congress will lose the by-election for the Munugode assembly seat went viral.
