Opinion: Suo Moto Cases On Munugode Voters?

G GOWTHAM
The outcome of the Munugode election was also known. Since the beginning of the campaign, the information regarding the distribution of funds to voters has not only been the subject of rival accusations, but has also received the endorsement of the electorate. Voters in numerous social media videos have stated that the trs candidate provided them with better service than the bjp candidate. According to some, the trs candidate distributed Rs 5000 every vote, whereas the bjp candidate handed out Rs 4000. The voters said that they had no contact with the congressional candidate when questioned about her.

Why can't the system and the judiciary take up the suo moto action against the bjp and trs candidates in the Munugode constituency when the evidence is so conclusive? The election commission is it asleep? It is a well-known fact that everyone in the system, including the voters, is motivated by money or yields to authority out of fear. Can this be considered a democracy? In the biggest democracy in the world, things are in a sad state.

Online user comments, "When politicians offer to vote in their favour, what's wrong with accepting the money? They remain hidden until the following election. Let them at least use this method to carry out the charity. Poor voters don't use that money to construct castles. They make purchases and stimulate the local economy. This could resemble any existing public assistance programme. After all, each voter chose how to cast their ballot ". How could the citizens possibly complain about systemic corruption if their knowledge is thus poor? It is impossible to alter the human condition.
