Major attacks in three cities

Ukrainian officials have reported explosions in at least three cities in response to Russian military attacks. The authorities had earlier also warned of airstrikes across the country and now the attacks are taking place according to those warnings.

Meanwhile, the PMO has also informed about PM Modi's conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was told that in the context of the ongoing conflict in ukraine, PM Modi in his phone conversation with Russian President Putin reiterated his call to carry forward diplomacy. 

PM Modi also hoped that the two countries would work together during India's chairmanship of the shanghai Cooperation Organisation. They have agreed to be in regular touch with each other.
