Laththi Fails at Box Office miserably
The paper-thin storyline, however, crumbles when our hero and the enemy ultimately cross paths. Up until the break, the director's talent was fully on display; now it's utterly gone. While it's admirable that the director and hero Vishal maintain the drama in the forefront rather than go off into duets and item numbers, the film's second act's draggy moments are tiresome. Furthermore, Vishal's impassioned monologue during the conclusion is challenging to watch.
The police department is aware that their policeman is engaged in a battle with a don, but no one has yet turned up to support him. This is completely illogical. In conclusion, "Laatthi" starts out strong but ultimately falls short of its potential. It has a reasonable premise and some engaging scenes in the middle, but the conclusion is weak.
