The recent Kamma-Kapu fight in dallas at the new year's event resulted in the arrest of a tdp supporter by the name of KC Chekuri. Many believed that the reason he was detained was because of a misdemeanour. But according to the Judicial Information and the Arraignment Sheet made public by the Magistrate of dallas County, he was detained on january 1, 2023 for the Stalking offence he committed on december 27, 2021. Why then did he not go to jail for almost a year after the crime? What was the initial "Stalking" he engaged in?

The specifics of this offence were coded in the judicial information, however they remain unclear. He was maintained on community supervision (probation) with a surety of US$25,000, according to the Arraignment Sheet. The 195th Judicial district court mandated that he adhere to the bond conditions, including showing up for all planned court appearances and abstaining from alcohol and other narcotics. It is also emphasised that penalties for disobeying the rules include forfeiture and jail time.

Additionally, it was made clear in the Magistrate's Admonishment that KC Chekuri, an indian citizen, DID NOT WISH NOTification of his arrest to be sent to his nation's consular representatives. His crime was deemed to be a 3rd degree felony by the court. The question at hand is what "Stalking" he actually committed in december 2021 and how he managed to avoid capture for so long.
