In the upcoming assembly elections in the state, it is all but certain that the Jana Sena Party, led by action star Pawan Kalyan, would form an electoral coalition with the telugu Desam Party, led by former andhra pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It is only a matter of time before the two parties get down and agree on the seat distribution and the state constituencies where they will be running for office. Both parties would need to create an alliance if they want to compete with jagan Mohan Reddy's powerful congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ysr congress party, therefore they will need to come up with a reasonable compromise.
If the tdp and Jana Sena combination succeeds, it will raise doubts about the future of the bharatiya janata party, which had previously placed its faith in an alliance with Pawan Kalyan. The bjp lacks internal strength and received just 1% of the vote in the most recent general and assembly elections. It has no presence in Andhra and must form an alliance with the Jana Sena in order to demonstrate its legitimacy. Due to weak local leadership, the narendra modi enchantment isn't as effective in Andhra as it is in Telangana.
Despite putting up a strong data-face and making pronouncements that extol their power, certain leaders are quite aware that there are no takers for them in Andhra. How will the bjp react to this? Will it have to work with the Jana Sena-TDP coalition or stand on its own in the Andhra elections? By ignoring the Jana Sena leader for so long, analysts claim the bjp has wasted an opportunity to maintain its identity in the state.
