What if Vizag becomes the Capital of AP ?
The andhra pradesh high court had rejected the idea to create three capitals in the state in march of last year and ordered the YSRC government to construct amaravati as the state capital as intended. The court had also ruled on march 3, 2022, that the state assembly lacked the authority to pass any legislation on moving, dividing, or trifurcating the capital.
The high court order has been contested by the state administration in a petition to the supreme Court.
