Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum Review - A Mindless Comedy

SIBY JEYYA
The movie opens with Madhesh (Sha Ra), an IIT graduate who creates Simran, a special mobile phone with an integrated AI bot (Megha Akash). As soon as he starts engaging with it, he realizes how much the AI bot is capable of in the real world. The phone is suddenly taken from him by two small-time criminals, who then sell it to a local used mobile dealership. The phone is purchased by Shankar (Shiva), an engineering graduate and food delivery worker.

Simran's intelligence causes an instant transformation in Shankar's life. He uses the AI bot to play online games for money and gain popularity. At one point, he even takes the customer for a meal delivery while lecturing them, warning them that anything can happen at any time. Even Tulsi, his lifelong crush, cosmetic artist, and instagram influencer, falls for him. Seeing these scenes, we couldn't help but chuckle aloud. When Simran, the AI bot, falls deeply in love with Shankar, trouble ensues. Is it possible for shankar to have a happy life with the AI bot, or will he have to suffer the repercussions of turning down her love because she is only a robot?

Although the idea of an AI falling in love with a human is not new, the difficulties it causes in the protagonist's life frequently make us uncomfortable. Funny characters and clever one-liners keep the audience interested in some of the post-interval episodes, even when the comedy takes a back seat.

If the filmmaker had included some genuine conflicts while also including some humorous scenes in the second half, the movie would have been much more engaging and better. The conclusion had all the makings of being chaotic and funny at the same time, as we've seen in other successful performers before, but it fell flat. Although the idea of combining real-world and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital elements to create augmented reality is intriguing, the animation lacked impact.

Despite having few opportunities to act, megha akash gave the performance that was anticipated by the character. Both divya Ganesh and Anju Kurian did a respectable job and have a nice screen presence. In the movie, Ma Ka Pa anand portrays Shiva's pal; keep an eye out for him. ShivaB and Ma Ka Pa made a great team, especially in the second half.
Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum is a fantastic choice if you're seeking stupid comedic amusement with no logic.
