On Sunday, unidentified assailants broke into the office of "Q News," a YouTube channel managed by Chintapandu Naveen, also known as Teenmaar Mallanna. The event happened in the medchal Malkajgiri district's Peerzadiguda neighbourhood under the Medipally police station. Unknown males stormed the office, ransacked the desks and computers, and then left the area. Teenmaar Mallanna wasn't at the office when the attack happened. There weren't many employees at the office because it was Sunday.
The channel employees and their supporters took to the streets to protest after the incident. Tension in the neighbourhood was brought on by the attack and the protest that followed. As they arrived on the scene, the police put an end to the protest while simultaneously gathering information about the attack. In an attempt to assassinate him, Mallanna said that 25 BRS "goondas" invaded his office. He added that he didn't believe the cops would protect him.
Speaking out against the BRS administration and chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao, Mallanna, who self-identifies as a journalist, has been active. He gained notoriety in 2021 when he campaigned as an Independent candidate for the Nalgonda-Warangal-Khammam graduates' constituency in the legislative council elections. In order to place second, he put up a valiant struggle against BRS candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.
Shortly after his release from prison in december 2021, he had joined the BJP. On a number of offences, including extortion and violating the scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes, he was imprisoned for 73 days (Prevention of Atrocities Act). A total of 38 cases resulted in his arrest. His criticism of KCR, the chief minister, his son K.T. Rama Rao, and his daughter kavitha was the subject of several of the lawsuits.
