On Monday, the police lathi-charged the crowd of private doctors and private hospital operators in jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A crowd of doctors running private clinics were going to encirclement the rajasthan Legislative assembly, where the 'Right to health Bill' is going to be discussed. The police first tried to stop the doctors, but when the crowd tried to move forward, the police resorted to lathicharge. Doctors were beaten up, in which many doctors were injured. Many women doctors have also accused the rajasthan police of misbehaving with them.

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has announced to present the Right to health Bill in the current assembly session itself, which will give legal right to health to 8 crore people of the state and private hospitals will be forced to make their system transparent. rajasthan will become the first state in the country to give this right to its people.

Private hospital operators and doctors from all over rajasthan first reached the auditorium of jaipur Medical Association in the SMS Hospital campus of Jaipur. Here a strategy was made against the Right to health Bill. After this, in the afternoon, they went out to lay siege to the assembly. The police stopped the doctors' march at Statue Circle. On this they all sat on a dharna there. After a while, the crowd of doctors tried to break the police cordon. Seeing the doctors getting furious, the police lathi-charged them.
