Orange alert for 33 districts-Heat Wave..?


Temperatures soared above 40°Celsius on Tuesday, creating heatwave conditions in up to 28 out of the state's 33 districts. As a result, the state government in these districts issued an orange alert.

According to a bulletin published by the telangana State Development and Planning Society at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.8°C in Chaprala in the adilabad district, Dasturabad in the nirmal district, and Julurupad in the bhadradri Kothagudem district, causing residents to stay inside.

The highest temperature was 42.9°C at Mendora in the nizamabad district, followed by 42.8°C at Jagitial and wanaparthy districts and 42.5°C at Jayashankar bhupalpally district. Kommera in the mancherial district recorded 43°C.

The lowest recorded maximum temperature in the state was in Hyderabad, the capital of the state, at 39.3°C. TIn the next three days, "dry weather is expected to prevail throughout the state with maximum temperatures ranging from 37°C to 43°C," according to the TSDPS forecast.

Weather experts predict that temperatures will likely top 45°C in May as the summer heat increases. A maximum temperature of 42.8°C was recorded at Rentachintala in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, followed by maximums of 41.9°C in Nellimarla in the vizianagaram district, 41.8°C in Rajam, and 41.5°C in Kurnool.
