New Telangana secretariat not a symbol of development
N Ramchander advised the cm to assess the situation on the ground while speaking to ANI. He (KCR) can't claim to have built telangana by simply erecting a vastu-based secretariat and razing the previous structure, N Ramachander Rao told ANI. "I would like to bring to the attention of the cm and ktr (his son) the recent drowning of a girl in the city's manhole during heavy rains. How can hyderabad be referred to as a global city if this is the case?
He asserted that the state "does not have an adequate drainage system." He continued by saying that a state could only be considered developed when members of all social strata are content, can find employment, and have access to government social programs.
The bjp leader declared that the new secretariat alone cannot be considered a sign of growth because corruption is pervasive in the state. Ramachander continued by saying telangana was heavily indebted. "Telangana was a surplus state in the past. The state is currently drowning in an Rs. 5 lakh crore debt.
When compared to other states, telangana has a very high rate of inflation. He (the CM) cannot, therefore, claim that telangana has advanced only by dedicating a new secretariat building, the bjp leader continued. "Let him assess the situation on the ground. people are becoming poorer. Therefore, just building a new secretariat doesn't indicate that the state has advanced, he said.
