Transport Corp announces 1500 Special buses on June 12th
1,500 special buses will be operated by the tamil Nadu government Transport Corporations in view of the opening of schools on weekends and on june 12, the Managing director of government Rapid Transport Corporation has said. A press release issued by him in this regard: 2023 school summer vacation will be over on 12th june and additional passengers during this weekend 09-06-2023 to 11-06-2023 (Friday, saturday and Sunday) It is expected that they will travel all over tamil Nadu.
Keeping this in mind, tamil Nadu government Transport Corporations have planned to run special buses in addition to the daily buses. Accordingly, 650 buses from major places in tamil Nadu to chennai on weekends, 850 special buses to major places like Coimbatore, madurai, Tirunelveli, Trichy, salem and Bengaluru, totaling 1,500 buses are planned to run.
Therefore, travelers who intend to travel long distances are requested to plan and book their journey in advance. Adequate officers have been appointed at all the bus stations to monitor the operation of these special buses. Also, additional buses are planned to be operated from madurai and Trichy as per the demand of passengers without reservation.
