Andhra Pradesh is already stricken with election fever. In an effort to win over votes, all major parties are canvassing the area. throughout the meanwhile, widespread voter list tampering has been reported throughout the state. eenadu and Andhrajyothy have been posting articles concerning the inclusion of phoney votes and the deletion of voters who are viewed as the opposition over the past few weeks.

On Sunday, eenadu released a report describing how there are 103 votes in nandikotkur for a single, nonexistent location. Both Chandrababu and pawan kalyan frequently bring up the subject during their public appearances and tours. To prevent the chaos of the governing party, they are cautioning the party cadre to exercise caution and vigilance. However, maintaining the voter list is not an easy task. It calls for a system of cooperation between the ward-level local leaders and the booth-level cadre.

Giving the cadre the simple directive to be careful would produce nothing. To avoid a riot by the ruling party, the parties must make sure that such a structure is in place for the cadre to participate. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
