A famous educational institution is functioning in Chembur, Mumbai. There the school and college are running in the same campus. In this situation, the school has implemented a new uniform rule for male and female students. According to this rule, it is prohibited for 12th class girls to wear hijab and burqa inside the school. Wearing headscarves has also been banned. For the last 2 days, this issue has created a lot of excitement there.

In this situation, a large number of Muslim students and their parents gathered at the school gate yesterday. Some former students also gathered at the school gate to support them. The school, which has been running since 1978, has just implemented the uniform rule. According to this rule students should wear shirt and pants. Girls should wear salwar, kameez and jacket. A college is also functioning in this campus. However, no new dress code was imposed on them.

The students demanded that they be allowed to wear dupatta. But the school administration refused to allow it. At the same time, the 12th class students alleged that if any of the students were wearing dupatta, the teachers forced them to remove that dupatta. This incident has generated a chaos in that area. The students, parents and public have insisted that the authorities should take appropriate action regarding this incident.
