Former Andhra cm chandrababu naidu arrested...?


N chandrababu naidu, a former chief minister of andhra pradesh and the leader of the telugu desam party (TDP), was detained by the criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with a corruption case. In 2021, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed in the case. According to the information, chandrababu naidu was taken to Nandyal Hospital for a medical checkup before being presented to the court.

In the early hours of Saturday, as chandrababu naidu was sleeping in his vanity van after giving a speech in the andhra pradesh city of Nandyala, a warrant for his arrest was delivered to him under Section 50 (1) (2) of the Code of criminal Procedure (CrPC). The sentences imposed on Naidu are not subject to bail.

The police claimed that all information and materials related to the case were given to the court. In exchange for being taken in his convoy and having his security follow him, Naidu agreed to assist the police. chandrababu naidu recently asserted that he would be detained quickly.

Meruga Nagarjuna, the minister for social welfare in andhra pradesh, demanded Chandrababu Naidu's arrest on friday for embezzling public funds. Speaking at a press conference in Tadepalli, he stated, "Chandrababu spent Rs 10 crore on repairs to Hyderabad's Lake view Guest house before he fled in the cash for vote case. A further Rs. 10 crore was spent on the Chief Minister's office, Rs. 100 crore was spent on charter flights, and Rs. 80 crore was spent on dharma Porata Deekshas. In contrast to him, our chief minister distributed Rs 2.31 lakh crore through Direct Benefit Transfer into people's accounts, he noted.
