High Drama, Tension Marks Chandrababu's Arrest in Nandyal

On saturday morning, N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister of andhra pradesh and the leader of the telugu Desam, was arrested in Nandyal in connection with an alleged scheme involving skill development. At the rk event hall in the city, where Naidu had parked his bus for the night, tension was high. Before his arrest, a strong contingent of police officers surrounded the area.  

TDP leaders and activists had assembled in huge numbers at the location after learning of this. When Naidu questioned how he could have been detained without any prima facie evidence and without his name appearing in the FIR copy, the police said that they had presented the required paperwork to the High Court. The police were persuaded by Naidu's attorneys to present the evidence before making the arrest. The remand report, according to the police, contains all the information.

On the other side, when lokesh attempted to meet his father, Chandrababu Naidu, he was stopped by the police. Why am I being prohibited from seeing my father, he questioned?
