On Facebook, city mayor Luigi Brugnaro posted information about the incident.

Giorgia Meloni, the prime minister of the nation, has sent her sincere condolences for the mishap. He issued a statement saying, "I am communicating with Mayor Luigi Brugnaro and (Transport) minister Matteo Salvini to catch up on this tragedy.
