The premiere shows of the IMAX version of Vijay starrer Leo have been suddenly canceled in the US. Leo is a film directed by lokesh kanagaraj and starring Vijay. The film is slated to hit the screens on october 19. With only 5 days left for the film's release, the final stages of the film are in full swing. The movie Leo has been dubbed not only in tamil but also in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and malayalam and released as a Pan india movie.
Bookings for Leo had started overseas last month. Especially in the UK, the booking for the film started 6 weeks in advance. Similarly, in America, where Vijay has a large fan base, Leo's movie bookings have been going in full swing for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Leo's film premieres in the US have been canceled as the release nears.
The premiere of Leo is scheduled to be screened in the US on october 18. While the bookings for this have also been completed, only the premiere screenings for the Leo IMAX version have been canceled. Due to the delay in sending the film, the premiere shows that were scheduled to be screened at the IMAX theaters there have been canceled. It is said that work is underway to refund the money to those who bought tickets. However, it is reported that Leo will be released in non-IMAX theaters as planned. Ticket booking for the movie Leo started yesterday in tamil Nadu. Most theaters sold out within minutes of the opening. Fans are displeased as bookings are yet to open in a few theaters in Chennai.
