Kerala Bomb Blast: Target worshippers...?
The evangelist prayer conference at Kalamassery in the ernakulam district was targeted by an unidentified saboteur using an improvised explosive device (IED), according to kerala police Commissioner Shaik Darvesh Saheb. He declared, "The explosion happened just after the 9.30 a.m. prayers started. One worshipper lost their life to it, while numerous more were hurt. A special squad will be assembled by the police to look into the matter. They would collaborate closely with central agencies to solve the issue, and they are in contact with the Union Ministry of home Affairs. After the blasts, Mr Saheb added, the police would bring charges against anyone who tries to incite resentment by disseminating false information online. He also asked for composure. Investigators were not blind to the fact, according to a top police official, that the explosion looked like a small-scale parody of the easter Sunday bombings at a packed church in sri lanka in 2019.But he claimed it was too soon to pin down a reason for the Kalamassery explosion. According to the official, the attack first appeared to be a well-planned attempt to use a high-profile act of violence to spark a socially unstable scenario in the State. According to the authorities, no one has taken credit for the incident. Investigators couldn't determine whether any specific gang was responsible for the mayhem and murder that shocked, terrified, and infuriated the public, or if the blasts were the product of a lone wolf acting on their own.
