High Court Grants Bail For Chandrababu Naidu
Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister, was granted interim bail by the andhra pradesh High Court. On medical grounds, Justice T mallikarjuna rao granted temporary release for a period of four weeks. The former chief minister's attorneys informed the judge that Chandrababu had been imprisoned for fifty days without facing any serious charges related to the Remand Report of the Skill Development matter.
They told the court that in addition to having other medical problems, Chandrababu needs a cataract procedure done very away. The government's solicitors contended that these are age-related problems and that a cataract procedure is not urgently necessary. They said that Chandrababu should not be granted bail since he is utilising medical justifications for it. The Judge ruled in favour of Chandrababu after considering the medical data as well.
The government's solicitors requested extra time to present their case, and Chandrababu's solicitors filed an application for regular bail as well. It's going to be heard as well.
