According to the Central pollution Control Board, the air quality has worsened not only in tamil Nadu but all over india due to the bursting of firecrackers during the diwali festival. diwali was celebrated across the country yesterday (November 12). This year's diwali festival falls on sunday and its celebrations started on 10th November. Since that evening, crackers and fireworks have been burst and diwali has begun. If that is the case, I must say that wherever you turn, there is the sound of firecrackers. Children and adults enjoyed bursting crackers regardless of age. Earlier, the supreme court had permitted to burst firecrackers for only two hours, one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening, as environmental pollution has been increasing in india for the past few years.
