madurai district. Mostly children between 1 to 5 years and children between 8 to 14 years of age are more affected by dengue. Also, as of today, 98
people in the
district are being treated in
government and primary
health centers and urban
health centers due to fever. Some of them will be tested for
dengue fever. The plight of rainwater stagnant in private residences, commercial establishments, and factories in the
district continues with old tyres and unnecessary materials piled up here and there. Also, due to the accumulation of rainwater in
government buildings and
government office buildings,
dengue mosquitoes are produced more and
people are getting affected by
dengue fever.
As the incidence of
dengue has started to increase throughout the
district, the Municipal Corporation and
local bodies should intensify preventive measures to prevent
dengue Aedes mosquito production and conduct a personal inspection to prevent the production of
dengue mosquitoes in schools and surrounding areas so that children and children are not affected by
dengue fever. The public has also demanded.
