After an encounter in delhi on the intervening night of sunday and Monday, the delhi Police Special Cell apprehended two gunmen who worked for Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep alias Arsh Dala. One of the gunmen was hurt when he was shot in the leg during the clash in east Delhi's Mayur vihar neighbourhood. According to authorities, the gunmen intended to target a punjabi musician.

Both of the apprehended suspects had fled after violating their parole in a case in Punjab. Meanwhile, the delhi Police, punjab Police, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) are looking for Arsh Dala, who fled india in 2020. He's currently in Canada.


Who is Arsh Dalla?

Arsh Dalla, also known as Arshdeep Singh, is a Khalistai terrorist who lives in Canada. According to intelligence sources, he has ties to extremist and terrorist organisations such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is also acquainted with Canadian mobster Goldy Brar, the mastermind behind the assassination of punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala. Arsh Dalla, also known as Arshdeep Singh, comes from the Moga district of Punjab. indian security agencies have identified Dalla as a pro-Khalistani force backing separatist fanatics.

During massive searches against Khalistani elements in september of this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) not only apprehended an assistant to Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla, but also seized other suspects across the state of Punjab.

A total of 30 raids were carried out across punjab, including the districts of Faridkot, Amritsar, Moga, Fazilka, Ludhiana, Mohali, Barnala, Bhatinda, Ferozepur, and Jalandhar. The NIA also conducted operations in Haryana's Faridabad, Rohtak, Sirsa, and Fatehabad districts in connection with Khalistani elements.
