EC withdraws permission to Telangana govt for fund release
The election commission on monday revoked the telangana government's authority to grant financial help to farmers for rabi crops under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme after a state minister violated the model code by making a public declaration about it. On specific circumstances, the poll panel granted the state government permission to distribute the rabi installment within the model code of conduct period.

"The disbursement will be made on monday," he allegedly remarked. The money will be deposited to the farmers' accounts even before they finish their breakfast and tea."

Following the approval, the officials promptly began the payout procedure, meeting the demands of farmers who had already begun Yasangi activities. Over the next three days, over 65 lakh farmers would get direct bank account deposits totaling around Rs 7300 crore, according to authorities. The telangana administration has requested approval from the ECI to pay outstanding dearness allowance (DA) to state government employees as well as distribute payments relating to Rythu Bandhu help and agricultural loan waiver to farmers in compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
