Telangana Hyderabad - Kavitha’s tweet on Ram Temple raises eyebrows in political circles
The BRS MLC's statement is considered a significant reversal in the party's stance on the subject, coming only days after the BRS lost power in telangana to the Congress.
Political observers believe this indicates that the BRS may follow in the footsteps of the JD(S) and join the BJP-led NDA.
The JD(S), led by former prime minister Deve Gowda, joined the nda in September, just months after both the bjp and the JD(S) were defeated by the congress in the karnataka Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, bjp supporters remembered previous remarks made by kcr, his son and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, and kavitha on the ayodhya issue. Some of them shared video snippets from previous BRS leaders' remarks on social media.
During the election campaign, kcr emphadata-sized the topic of the destruction of the Babri Masjid.
He had questioned at an election rally in the nizamabad Urban seat, "Who demolished the Babri Masjid?"
He had slammed the congress for utilizing Muslims as a vote bank and said that the party was also involved in theatrics.
"It is now stating that 'Nafrat ki Dukan' will be closed." Who demolished the Babri Masjid, I wonder? "If you are secular, you should always be secular, and your work should demonstrate this," remarked the BRS director.
BRS lost control in telangana after two terms in office to the congress, which won 64 seats in the 119-member Assembly. The BRS came in second with 39 seats, while the bjp got eight.
