Telangana Ex-CM KCR Failed - Can new CM Revanth Succeed ?

The continuous drug problem in telangana, particularly in Hyderabad, has sparked fears that the region is a transit center for numerous illicit substances. Tollywood, or the telugu film industry, has also data-faced charges, with major players such as puri Jagannath, Mumaith Khan, and Navadeep implicated in drug-related activities. The previous administration, led by KCR, has been chastised for failing to handle the matter forcefully and for failing to put effective measures in place to battle the state's drug problem.

Telangana's new chief minister, revanth reddy, has issued strict directions to staff at the telangana State Anti-drugs Bureau (TSNAB) to combat drug distribution and usage. cm revanth announced the appointment of a new director for TSNAB at a detailed review meeting at the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana Secretariat, emphasizing the supply of enough funding, resources, and logistical assistance to improve the bureau's functioning.

Chief minister revanth reddy encouraged authorities to strengthen TSNAB, drawing inspiration from specialised agency such as Greyhounds and Octopus, which are known for their competence in anti-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations.
