The bollywood film "Animal," directed by sandeep Reddy Vanga, has enjoyed tremendous success at the box office, amassing around 850 crores. However, the film's lead actor, ranbir kapoor, now data-faces legal troubles as a case has been registered against him in Mumbai. During the Kapoor family's annual christmas lunch, a video surdata-faced depicting ranbir kapoor, along with his wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha, participating in the celebration. In the video, Ranbir is seen lighting the cake and chanting 'Jai Mata Ji.' Sanjay Tiwari, a self-proclaimed Sanatana dharma preacher, took offense to the video and filed a complaint against ranbir kapoor at the Ghatkopar police station. Tiwari has urged authorities to apply various sections of the indian Penal Code against the Kapoor family, accusing them of hurting religious sentiments.
According to the complaint, Tiwari alleged that the Kapoor family deliberately consumed alcohol during a religious ritual, causing offense to religious sentiments. The lawyer representing Tiwari stated, "What Ranbir did hurt people because they used alcohol for a ritual. The flames spread as they chanted jai Mata Ji. In Hinduism, Agni represents the Goddess of Flame, and she is also a goddess."
The video that went viral showed someone pouring liquor on Ranbir's cake before setting it on fire. However, as of now, no FIR (First Information Report) has been filed in connection with this complaint. The resolution of this matter remains uncertain, with further developments pending at the police station.
