 Ranbir Kapoor, who made news lately for allegedly refraining from non-vegetarian food and drink in preparation for his portrayal as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan, is now entangled in a fresh scandal. A police report has been filed against the actor and his family in connection with a viral video of them celebrating Christmas.
Ranbir Kapoor is seen igniting a pudding after pouring spirit over it in the footage from the Kapoor family's christmas supper, with his wife, alia bhatt, at his side. The performer "is seen pouring liquor on the cake and setting it on fire while saying jai Mata Di," according to the complaint, which is considered disrespectful to Hindu sensitivities. According to the lawsuit, Hindu practices include invoking the fire god before other deities, and Kapoor's activities during the christmas season were interpreted as insulting.
