Nagarjuna's Naa Saami Ranga has also been confirmed as a Sankranthi release. The creators have yet to set a release date, but the crew is working around the clock to make it happen. Naa Saami Ranga began in the third week of September, and the team worked tirelessly to complete it in record time.
However, the film's business suffered as a result of the tight rivalry in the Sankranthi race, Nagarjuna's recent form, a new director, and the production house's track record. Furthermore, the drop in non-theatrical business exacerbated the film's problems. Even though it is not convenient for the producer to release the film for Sankranthi due to all of these issues, nagarjuna is resolute since Sankranthi has been lucky for him and he feels the film is a joyous viewing.
He assures the producer that he would do all possible to achieve a Sankranthi release. He had already volunteered to clear the film's finances at the last minute and assured that pay would not be an issue today. nagarjuna will distribute the film in andhra pradesh through his annapurna studios distribution arm.
He further promised the producer that he will contact Hotstar to finalise the OTT contract using his bigg boss contacts. The OTT arrangement had not yet been inked at the time of writing. The hindi deals have yet to be inked. If the OTT agreement is finalised, the producer will be able to relax for a while. There are claims that the creators are still hesitant about the release since they are delaying the announcement of the release date. However, we have heard that nagarjuna is dead serious about the Sankranthi release.
