Ananya Panday Says Catfight Is Just 'Outside Perception'

Four and a half years after making her acting debut with student of the year 2, ananya Panday had her greatest critical triumph with Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The Netflix film, in which she plays a child preoccupied with seeking affirmation and attention from social media, has earned her widespread accolades. ananya, riding high on the love that is coming her way, says in a freewheeling interview with india Herald that she feels 'very validated' now that people have acknowledged her for her acting abilities.

She exclusively tells us, "It's incredibly reassuring for an actor when people enjoy your work, and that's what I've always strived for. It seems like I'm finally seeing the results of my hard work, devotion, and passion for my trade. What this film has taught me more than anything else is to work with wonderful people and be proud of my job, because it will always pay off."

But she's especially pleased with the feedback she's received from her female peers. Slamming the gossip that frequently positions her against her contemporaries, she claims that she has a terrific connection with the majority of them and praises herself for not shying away from performing two-heroine projects.
