There are quite a few theatre releases today. In
telugu, we have
guntur Kaaram and HanuMan. Two prominent
tamil films, Captain Miller and Ayalaan, were launched in theatres today. Captain Miller is the clear major here, with
dhanush in the lead and the picture shot on a large scale. The trailer also looked good for this historical action thriller.
However, much to the surprise of moviegoers, Captain Miller, although showing great potential, has fallen short. The film received generally unfavorable reviews in the
tamil market. With these terrible reviews, all of the hoopla around the release has swiftly dissipated. According to the critics,
dhanush contributed to the picture with his polished acting, but the story's lack of momentum undid his good work. According to reports, the film falls short of expectations, except for the intermission and a few brief hero-driven scenes.
Overall, unfavorable reviews have inundated the much-hyped Captain Miller, and the
movie may struggle to find
success this
festival season. Ayalaan, the other picture, has received poor reviews, as was to be expected. Captain Miller's
telugu version will be launched on the 25th of this month. Given the poor reception of the original
tamil version, nothing is certain in
telugu as well. It might be a total washout in Telugu.
