Recent incidents aboard airplanes have sparked significant discussions about passengers' disruptive behaviour during flights. A notable event involves a passenger attacking a pilot, leading to discussions about placing the accused on a "no-fly list." The incident occurred on an indigo flight from delhi to Goa, where a passenger identified as Sahil Katria allegedly assaulted the pilot, blaming a flight delay on fog.

In the midst of the confrontation, a female air hostess attempted to control the situation, and a video of the attacker went viral on social media. The airport Authority of india took the matter seriously, handing over the passenger to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Subsequently, a case was registered against the accused, Sahil Katria, under Sections 290, 323, 341 of the IPC and Section 22 of the Aircraft Rules, based on a complaint by the co-pilot Anup Kumar.
Indigo, the airline involved, is treating the incident with gravity, contemplating the inclusion of the accused passenger in the "No Fly List." The airline intends to establish an internal committee to conduct an investigation into the matter. If implemented, the decision could result in a ban on the passenger from flying. Additionally, the surge in fog in various parts of North india has caused flight delays and cancellations, affecting around 100 flights, with 10 cancellations reported by airport officials.
