Huge rush continues at Ram Mandir on 2nd day
Following the temple's public opening on tuesday, around five lakh worshippers visited it. A tremendous influx of devotees was spotted outside the temple complex in the small hours as many fought extreme cold to catch a sight of ram Lalla. Devotees had begun queuing up at 3 a.m. on tuesday to have easy access to the ram Mandir.
Praveen Kumar, ayodhya IG Range, stated that worshippers should not hurry to visit the shrine, but rather take their time and prepare carefully. "The crowd is continuous, but the preparations are done...We request that the elderly and diverse persons arrange their visits after two weeks," he told ANI. Images from this morning show devotees dressed in thick winter robes lining up to enter the temple complex and worship to ram Lalla. Before the devotees entered, security agents were observed maintaining a rigorous guard.
Prashant Kumar, Uttar Pradesh DG of Law and Order, stated that the queuing system for crowd control has been enhanced, and the 'darshan' (visit) is proceeding well. "I and (the) Principal Secretary home are present here to oversee the management," he told PTI. social media videos also showed believers taking a sacred bath in the sarayu River in ayodhya, despite the severe fog and freezing cold in North India.
