On the day of the New hampshire primary, the 52-year-old Republican presidential candidate was speaking with her supporters at the Artisan Hotel in salem about what was at stake in the impending election, when a guy yelled the spontaneous marriage proposal from the audience, eliciting chuckles from Haley.

The former South Carolina governor, who is married to Maj. Michael Haley, replied by asking whether he would vote for her.

"I'm voting for trump," the man said after a brief pause, prompting jeers from his fellow rallygoers.

Haley, dissatisfied, responded by telling him to "get out".

Meanwhile, Haley came in second to former US President donald trump in the New hampshire presidential primary on tuesday (local time).

Trump won New Hampshire's Republican presidential primary election, but incumbent US President Joe Biden won the Democratic primary despite not campaigning. After two wins in a row, trump began to solidify his position as the Republican presidential contender.
