The delhi police recently discovered the body of a police officer's kid in a canal. Lakshya Chauhan, the son of Assistant Commissioner of police (ACP) Yashpal Singh, has been missing since january 22. On january 28, the police apprehended the case's primary culprit, Vikas Bharadwaj. On january 22, Lakshya, a practising lawyer in his mid-thirties, drove to a wedding in Bhiwani, Haryana, in an SUV with two others, Vikas Bharadwaj, a clerk at Tis Hazari Court, and Abhishek.

However, Lakshay did not come home, so the ACP filed a missing person case on january 23. A search mission had begun. On january 26, police detained Abhishek, 19, from jawahar Camp in Narela, Delhi. During interrogation, he stated that Vikas had contacted him on january 22 and requested him to accompany him to a wedding celebration in Sonipat.

Vikas informed him that Lakshay, who also practices in Tis Hazari Court, had taken a loan from him and misbehaved when he requested for the money. They then intended to kill Lakshay, according to the police. Vikas and abhishek met at Mukarba Chowk on the afternoon of january 22 and drove to Sonipat in Lakshay's automobile. abhishek informed the police that while returning from the celebration on january 23, they shoved Lakshay into a canal near panipat and drove away.
