The former minister also stated that the BRS has formed a special committee under the party's labor wing to investigate the difficulties faced by the auto driver community.
"We transmitted the report produced by the committee to the state government but received no reaction. "We request that the state government address the concerns of the state's over 6.50 lakh auto drivers," he added.
The telangana government has introduced the "Maha lakshmi Free Bus" plan, which provides free transportation for women and transgender people on state-run non-AC buses.
The plan applies to TSRTC's City Ordinary, Express, Metro Express, and Palle Velugu buses.
Women who are telangana residents and have appropriate identity cards indicating their dwelling address are eligible to use the programme. The plan is intended to help girls, women of all ages, and transgender people who live in Telangana.
