The recent tragic deaths of four students from our country within a week in the united states have not only created widespread shock but have instilled new fears among the families of thousands of students pursuing education overseas. The circumstances surrounding these deaths remain mysterious, leaving questions unanswered and causing significant concern among the parents of these students.To shed light on the broader context of student fatalities abroad, the details of such incidents over the last five years were presented in the Parliament. Muralidharan, the Assistant minister for External Affairs, informed the Central parliament that a total of 403 students had lost their lives during this period, attributing their deaths to various causes.
Breaking down the data by country, the highest number of student deaths occurred in Canada, with 91 fatalities, followed by 48 in England, 40 in Russia, 36 in the united states, and 21 in Ukraine. However, the specific reasons behind these tragic incidents were not disclosed.
