Telangana Hyderabad - Cherlapally Railway Terminal to be Ready Soon
New high-level platforms, an eight lakh liter overhead water tank, a new station building, an improved circulating area, the provision of an approach road, the installation of an electrical substation, a maintenance shed, two FOBs, five escalators, nine lifts, bio-toilets, and an automated coach washing plant are among the infrastructure projects being undertaken at Cherlapally.
The twin cities' fourth main passenger terminal will be the Cherlapally Railway Station. According to SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain, "The new terminal is being developed with modern facilities and technology on par with airports."
The station would fulfill the expanding needs of the city's population in addition to relieving pressure at the Secunderabad, Nampally, and Kacheguda stations. Passengers would benefit greatly from the terminal's closeness to ORR and the future Regional Ring Road (RRR) on both fronts.
