Telangana - Govt Will Not Impose Any New Taxes
Deputy chief minister Mallu bhatti vikramarka promised that the State government would not impose any new taxes on the populace and that, in addition to pursuing other welfare and development initiatives, emphasis would be placed on creating alternate revenue sources for the efficient implementation of guarantees. According to what he indicated in the assembly on Thursday, consultants will be brought in to recommend ways to generate other revenue streams.
The previous government, according to the finance minister, was preoccupied with yearly budget presentations that were exaggerated. He noted that every year there was a discrepancy between the budget forecasts and actual expenditure of around twenty percent.

Bhatti Vikramarka said that gross borrowings from open markets will be raised by GSDP and total Rs 60,000 crore. He stated that the majority of the new loans will be used to settle the principal and interest on existing debts, taking into account the loans raised by the previous administration.
The Finance minister stated that Rs 53,000 crore had been set aside by the State government to execute assurances. Of this amount, Rs 15,075 crore was set aside for Rythu Bharosa, Rs 7,740 crore for Indiramma homes, Rs 2,418 crore for Gruha Jyothi, and Rs 723 crore for the Rs 500 LPG cylinder plan.

According to him, the government was determined to fill all 2 lakh positions; in addition, 64 new positions were authorized, and appointment orders had been sent to 6,956 nurses and 13,444 police constables.
In response, BRS members urged that the minister disclose the notification date as well and requested that congress refrain from taking credit for the excellent work that the BRS government had accomplished.
