
Congress puts Himachal house in order as top minister, MLAs revolt
As the party leadership ruled out the prospect of a change of leadership in the state, chief minister Sukhu issued a summons for a meeting of congress MLAs and Ministers. At about eleven a.m., the Speaker is scheduled to address the media.

• On wednesday evening, prominent leaders and MLAs had talks with three central observers for the congress, among them senior leader Bhupinder S. Hooda. Hooda told reporters following the discussions, "We have talked with all the leaders," but he did not provide any other details.
• In Tuesday's election for the only rajya sabha seat, congress veteran abhishek Manu Singhvi lost to bjp contender Harsh Mahajan by a coin toss. The two candidates received 34 votes apiece.
