Siddaramaiah on blast threat in Bengaluru - 'Didn't get any Call'

Chief minister of karnataka Siddaramaiah refuted receiving any threats on tuesday in the wake of explosion reports that rocked Bengaluru. Telling reporters, "I haven't received any threat calls," Siddaramaiah said. His remarks were made in the midst of rumours that the Bengaluru police Commissioner, State home minister G Parameshwara, Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar, and the chief minister of karnataka had all received bomb threats via email.
 

Shahid Khan, the originator of the bomb threat email, stated that at 2:48 PM on Saturday, there will be an explosion in Bengaluru.
 
The sender threatened to put bombs in public gatherings and crowded locations across the city, such as eateries, temples, buses, or trains. A lawsuit was quickly filed in response.
 
In order to avoid carrying out the bomb, the accused even requested a ransom of 2.5 million dollars, or more than Rs 20 crore.
 
In the meantime, Siddaramaiah stated that the anti-terror agency is conducting an inquiry into the explosion that occurred at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru.
 

"The inquiry is being conducted by the National inquiry Agency (NIA). There have also been five arrests made. The chief minister remarked, "I have no idea who they have detained.
 
On march 1, a bomb occurred at the café in Bengaluru's Whitefield neighbourhood, injuring ten persons.
