During a hearing on Wednesday, the telangana High court chastised the telangana State pollution Control Board (TSPCB) for its subpar operation. Justice Anil Kumar Jukanti and Chief Justice Alok Aradhe voiced displeasure, citing the board's questionable procedures.

In the case of a petitioner who had replied to a show-cause notice sent by D. Krupanand, the joint chief environmental engineer of the TSPCB, the court addressed disparities. The officer asserted differently despite the petitioner's comprehensive response, raising questions about the openness and impartiality of the board.

Chief Justice Aradhe voiced worry about the board's inconsistent case processing and emphadata-sized the need for accountability within the organization.

Pooja Homes and Ananda Homes received show-cause letters from the telangana State pollution Control Board (TSPCB) for developing structures without the required permits and contaminating the Neknampur Lake.

The board also inquired about the municipal, construction, and demolition debris being thrown in the lake in a letter to the Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner.

One srinivas Rohit of the Dhruvansh NGO initially brought attention to the problem when he filed complaints with the TSPCB on february 8. The very following day, the board quickly carried out inspections and sent notifications to all three parties.

By throwing their construction trash into the lake, both projects broke the law and were started without the pollution board's required approvals.
