Telangana govt reduces Muslim employees’ work hours for Ramzan

During Ramadan, from march 12 to april 11, 2024, Muslim government workers in telangana are permitted to leave their workplaces or schools one hour early. It applies to boards, contracts, outsourcing, and workers in the public sector.

At 4 p.m. on all days throughout the holy month of Ramadan, they are permitted to leave work or school. telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari gave the directive.


Committee meeting in hyderabad to confirm the start date of Ramzan

To ascertain the start date of ramzan in india, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Sadar Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Deccan, popularly known as the moon seeing committee, is set to hold its monthly meeting tonight at 6:00 pm. Held in the Hussaini Building in Muazzam Jahi Market, the meeting will be overseen by Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Deccan Secretary Maulana Syed Hasan Ibrahim Hussaini Quadri. It is recommended that Ruet-e-Hilal Committee members attend the important meeting. Ahead of ramzan, a meeting was convened yesterday for the smooth conduct of the holy month in Hyderabad.The meeting was attended by minister for Transport and bc Welfare, Ponnam Prabhakar, advisor to the government Mohammed ali Shabbir, All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLAs, and others.
