New Defendants Added, Charges Enhanced.!
Investigations unveiled their communication with foreign handlers via encrypted apps, their acquisition of funds through armed robberies and thefts, and the receipt of financial aid from their handlers to execute their sinister plans. The defendants, trained in crafting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Kondhwa, pune, had surveyed locations earmarked for terrorist attacks. Their targets included various metropolitan areas in maharashtra and Gujarat.
Further probing revealed their firearms training in preparation for the attacks. Recovered evidence includes handwritten notes from IED training sessions, drones, clothing, and the knife used during the 'Ba'ith' (oath) ceremony pledged in the Caliph's name. Beyond Shamil Nachan, the original chargesheet also implicates Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Yunus Saki, Qadir Dastagir Pathan, Seemab Qazi, Zulfikar ali Barodawala, and Akif Nachan. The NIA continues its investigations into the matter.
