Telangana - TSRTC to operate buses in sync with SSC exams to help students

The telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has made a significant announcement: busses would transport students from various locations to the test centers and return during SSC exam hours. The action was decided in light of the SSC Examinations 2024, which are scheduled to take place from march 18 to april 2 (9.30 a.m.–12.30 p.m.), according to an official statement from TSRTC.
 

According to the officials, they were keeping an eye on the bus stations to make sure that students could board and get off the buses without any problems before or after test hours. Male students will also be eligible for free travel for the examinations, in addition to female students who will receive free travel under the "Mahalakshmi" scheme according to the usual timetable.
 

"On the strength of the examination hall ticket along with free bus passes issued to them, male students appearing for the SSC Public Examination will be allowed to travel from their residence to the Examination Center and back, irrespective of the distance and destination mentioned on the bus pass," the statement stated.
The service conductor will collect the regular fee and issue a ticket for the trip if any male students do not have a free or discounted bus pass.
The statement went on to say, "During the exam period, male students may be permitted to board express buses with a COMBI ticket based on a hall ticket, in addition to a free or discounted bus pass."
