Telangana Hyderabad - Tension in Chengicherla after songs played outside mosque
On sunday night, there was tension between two groups of people who practiced different religions in Chengicherla, which is close to Ghatkesar. The incident started when some people burned the holi Bhogi outside of a mosque during prayer time as a dj was spinning music.
Since it was Ramadan, the folks inside the mosque emerged and urged the musicians to stop for a while. But soon after disputes arose between the two groups, the cops stepped in. Eventually, the cops scattered both groups. When contacted, the Medipally police acknowledged that the problem had occurred and declared it to have been fixed. We anticipate further information.
