Telangana Hyderabad - For First time KCR and Family stays Away from polls
After leaving the telugu desam party (TDP) in 2001 to form telangana rashtra samithi (TRS) in an attempt to revitalize the telangana cause, kcr was elected to the lok sabha from karimnagar in 2004 and went on to become a minister in the UPA administration led by the congress at the federal level. In the 2006 and 2008 by-elections, he had kept his seat.
KCR was elected from mahabubnagar to the lok sabha in 2009. He was successful in helping telangana state achieve its objective throughout this period.
Although the trs was able to hold onto power in 2018, kavitha lost the nizamabad lok sabha seat in the 2019 elections to Dharampuri Arvind of the BJP. Later on, she was chosen to join the Legislative Council.
Congress defeated Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the most recent assembly elections.
The party asserts that when choosing candidates for the telangana lok sabha elections, it upheld social balance.
The major opposition party said that kcr won the trust of all social groups by upholding social balance in the candidate selecting process.
Six leaders from backward castes, three from scheduled castes, two from scheduled tribes, and six from other castes have been granted tickets by BRS, according to the list of candidates.
One current mp was elected to the assembly in the most recent elections, while five sitting MPs defected to the congress or BJP.
According to the BRS, he established an atmosphere where leaders with public support have greater prospects than rivals by selecting them, and the introduction of the candidates boosted confidence.
The party also feels that a growing number of people in the state are remembering KCR's administration following the outcomes of the most recent assembly elections.
The party stated that a few of the candidates had already begun visiting and interacting with the constituents. It stated that people are providing them with wonderful support.
Prominent party figures and elected officials are preparing to launch comprehensive campaigns in every district to win over voters.
To step up the election campaign, BRS Chief kcr would shortly begin personally touring the constituencies.
