Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik, the chairman of the telangana Muslim Joint Action Committee (TMJAC) and president of Tehreek Muslim Shabban (TMS), made it plain on monday that Muslim organizations in the state will not provide the congress or any other party with unqualified support in the next lok sabha elections.
Since taking office, Mushtaq Mallik said that the telangana congress government, led by chief minister A revanth reddy, has either directly or indirectly degraded Muslims. rahul Gandhi, the head of the congress, discusses an ideological conflict with the RSS. However, he also noted that there has been a rise in the number of individuals of bjp or RSS ancestry joining the Congress.
He drew attention to Jitender reddy, the former leader of the bharatiya janata party who was appointed to an official state post by the revanth reddy administration. Mushtaq Mallik, and they receive important posts in the administration. For example, he said that bjp leader Jithender reddy was named as the government's special representative in New delhi and counselor to the government (sports affairs) with the level of state minister just one day after joining the Congress.
"Several congress candidates have ties to the RSS or have a history of making anti-Muslim remarks while they were employed by the BJP. Recently, a large number of leaders who were known for causing harm and invading the Wakf holdings became members of the Congress. The Muslims refuse to recognize their leadership just because they have altered the color of their hands. Furthermore, under the guise of secularism, the congress should not attempt to force bjp or RSS representatives upon Muslims. Muslim organizations would oppose these candidates in the upcoming elections in addition to rejecting them, he warned.
The Muslim community and its organizations should not be under the assumption that the congress party would automatically receive support because of a concern that the bjp may win power. Muslims are afraid of the bjp and narendra Modi, thus they won't vote. In a media announcement on monday, Mushtaq Mallik stated, "They will vote based on the party and the secular credentials of individual candidates."
He went on to say that congress cannot assume that Muslim people will support whatever candidate they put up. Regarding its stance in favor of minorities, the telangana congress administration did not start softly. It barred any Muslim from serving in the government. Mushtaq Mallik said, "Any Muslim leader could have been elected as an MLC and later easily inducted into the cabinet."
He said that the state administration knew there would be legal ramifications if journalist Amer ali Khan's name was recommended under the Governor's Quota. "Did the congress fail to foresee that the cabinet-approved names of Prof. Kodandaram and Amer ali Khan, who were to be appointed as MLCs under the Governor's quota, would data-face opposition?
Mallik claimed that Amer ali Khan was simply suggested as an MLC by the congress leadership in an attempt to "mislead" the Muslims and gain more time. In a similar vein, Mushtaq Mallik said that Muslims have been ignored in the announced nominations for offices thus far.
He added that telangana Minorities Finance Corporation is a small organization with a tiny budget. The head of the organization does not hold the rank of cabinet minister. On the other hand, a vice-chairman was appointed by the congress administration to this position within this corporation. "Let them issue orders appointing vice-chairmen for the remaining corporations in the State if this appointment is lawful and flawless," he declared.
Mushtaq Mallik said that the telangana Muslim jac will soon have a meeting to discuss the future course of action.
