Hrithik Roshan,
deepika padukone, and
anil kapoor are among the ensemble cast members in
siddharth Anand's film "Fighter," which has important roles for each of them. Despite its mediocre
movie office performance, its recent Netflix release has generated some attention. OTT viewers have given the
movie high marks for its technical qualities, suspenseful action scenes, and Hrithik Roshan's outstanding performance. Its overly jingoistic tone, embarrassing language, and profusion of songs, on the other hand, have drawn criticism for ruining the whole watching experience.
Specifically,
deepika padukone has come under
fire for the role; many
people thought it was really corny. Viewers get a sense of disconnection as a result of the manufactured and inconsistent
love chemistry between her and Hrithik. Her family-related plotline has also drawn criticism for being illogical and uninteresting.
Though
deepika has demonstrated her acting prowess in films like "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani," "Cocktail," "Bajirao Mastani," and "Padmaavat," her performance in "Fighter" ended up detracting from the story rather than adding to it. But
deepika and Prabhas' next film, "Kalki 2898 AD," seems promising. It is unclear how Nag Ashwin's role would be portrayed and developed on the big screen; it could give her a second shot after her
fighter performance.
